Hotel executives, investors, operators and owners came together in New York City earlier this month for the annual NYU International Hospitality Investment Forum.
Hotel Dive was on the scene for sessions that discussed topics ranging from investment trends to economic patterns, as well as the rise of artificial intelligence and its impact on hospitality.
In sit-down interviews at the event, company leaders, including Hapi CEO Jeff Bzdawka and Mews Founder Richard Valtr, also shared their insights on hospitality technology trends and where exactly AI can be used to strenghten hotel performance and operations.
Also of note at the event: Hilton officially launched its Undergraduate brand, expanding its presence in college markets. Hotel Dive was among a select handful of journalists invited to an intimate gathering with Hilton CEO and others involved in the company’s 28th brand, where they shared the brand’s origin story and future plans for expansion.
Read on for Hotel Dive’s coverage from the event. Next year’s event will be back at the New York Marriott Marquis on June 6-8.
