Dive Insight:
Tempo by Hilton, designed for the “modern traveler who wants to maintain their routine,” debuted in Times Square in August 2023, with a second location following in downtown Nashville in early 2024.
The Savannah opening follows other recent openings in Raleigh, North Carolina; Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; and Manassas, Virginia; and more than 70 additional Tempo properties are under development, per the release.
For Noble Investment Group, the Savannah Tempo reflects the Atlanta-based real estate investment firm’s strategy of “targeting institutional-quality assets in high-growth markets with strong, cycle-tested travel and hospitality fundamentals,” per the release.
Ben Brunt, Noble’s chief investment officer, said in a statement that the Savannah market is “defined by structural scarcity and durable demand — conditions under which we have consistently created value for our investors.”
Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District “blends historic character with modern, wellness-driven experiences” and is also situated in one of the country’s most vibrant historic destinations, per the release. It’s located near historic district attractions, the Savannah Convention Center and the Port of Savannah.
Reflecting the city’s character and culture, the hotel features a lobby with local artwork and coastal design elements, as well as a rooftop restaurant called Waving Girl Rooftop with a locally inspired menu and wine program inspired by women winemakers.
The hotel also includes more than 3,000 square feet of meeting space and a street-level cafe called Bluestone Lane Café for guests and visitors, per the release.
The opening adds to Savannah’s thriving hotel market, which has seen more luxury developments and will welcome its first-ever Ritz-Carlton in early 2028.
The coastal Georgia city attracts nearly 15 million visitors each year, who contribute more than $4 billion to the economy, per the release. People seeking unique accommodations and immersive experiences have made Savannah a popular travel destination, local hospitality professionals told Hotel Dive last year.
