Dive Brief:
- Hilton has launched Signia Restore, an “immersive” wellness concept featuring dedicated recovery environments that will debut at the Signia Hilton Indianapolis in January, according to a Tuesday news release.
- Signia Restore will combine fitness, recovery and wellness experiences as well as curated retail offerings to “create a wellness journey tailored to [guests’] individual needs,” per the release.
- Signia Restore is part of “a broader commitment to make wellness more intentional, integrated and meaningful across the guest journey,” Amanda Al-Masri, Hilton’s vice president of wellness, said in a statement. It also comes as travelers increasingly use trips as a “mental health reset,” with hotels prioritizing wellness offerings.
Dive Insight:
Amenities at Signia Hilton Indianapolis will include a “Physical Recovery and Reset Zone” with a red light sauna, hybrid sauna, sensory showers and a cold therapy room, as well as a “Mental Recovery and Readiness Zone,” which will have Zero G MindSync Harmonic Loungers, along with Normatec air compression and percussive therapy, according to the release.
The property also plans to introduce advanced wellness technologies, including Aescape, an automated, artificial intelligence-powered massage system; and the Ammortal Chamber, an immersive experience that “integrates red and near-infrared light therapy, pulsed electrostatic fields, vibroacoustics, molecular hydrogen and guided breathwork.”
Guests will also have access to a “high-performance training environment” equipped with Peloton bikes, rowing and conditioning equipment and free-weight and training zones.
The “thoughtfully curated wellness retail experience” will offer nutrition, hydration, restorative products and premium athleisure, per the release.
Wellness experiences are available for both hotel guests and locals, and the concept is also ideal for group events, per Hilton.
Following its Indianapolis debut, Hilton plans to expand the Restore concept to select Signia properties across the globe. Hilton launched the Signia brand in 2019 as a meetings-and-events-focused brand featuring “premium wellness experiences.”
Signia Restore comes as hotel players embrace wellness offerings. Last month, Hilton expanded its partnership with ResortPass to scale access to its health and wellness amenities. And in April, Bangkok-based Minor Hotels announced the U.S. debut of its experiential luxury Anantara brand in Miami.
Marriott International has also integrated spa technology across its luxury brands, and in June, completed its deal with Italian wellness luxury brand Lefay to expand its wellbeing strategy.
According to a 2026 study from JD Power, hotel guests are placing a greater emphasis on health and wellness, identifying fitness centers as a “need to have” amenity.
