Peregrine Hospitality tapped Accor executive Kristen Richter as chief commercial officer, the hospitality company announced Wednesday in a release obtained by Hotel Dive.

Richter joins Peregrine from French-based hospitality company Accor, where she was chief commercial officer for the Fairmont and Raffles brands, according to the release. In that position, she oversaw commercial strategy across sales, revenue, digital, loyalty and distribution.
Richter previously worked as head of global sales at Sonder and as chief commercial officer for Radisson Hotel Group’s Americas segment. She also spent nearly 12 years at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and three years with Hilton, according to her LinkedIn.
At Peregrine, Richter is tasked with leading commercial strategy, revenue management, sales and marketing, focusing on optimizing revenue channels and advancing profitability across its growing portfolio, per the company.
“Kristen is an exceptional commercial strategist with deep experience in the global luxury and upscale hotel space,” Greg Kennealey, CEO of Peregrine Hospitality, said in the release. “She has an impressive ability to connect commercial strategy with execution, and her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to optimize our sales, marketing, and revenue strategies across the portfolio.”
Kennealey was appointed CEO last year, when Peregrine Hospitality still operated as KSL Resorts. The company rebranded earlier this year in an effort to expand its platform and grow across all asset classes in the hospitality sector, Kennealey said in January.
“Joining Peregrine Hospitality at this stage of its evolution is an incredible opportunity,” Richter said in Wednesday’s release. “With a growing and diverse portfolio, we have the ability to refine how commercial strategy informs every business decision, strengthening market positioning, deepening customer engagement, and driving sustained revenue growth.”
