Dallas-based hotel management company Dreamscape Hospitality has appointed President Adam Patenaude to president and CEO, according to a news release shared with Hotel Dive.
Patenaude’s promotion to CEO comes after he joined the company in May 2024. He initially led the company’s launch and has helped it grow to manage a portfolio of dozens of hotels across brands under Hilton, Marriott International, Hyatt and IHG Hotels & Resorts, per the release.
Prior to joining Dreamscape, Patenaude served as senior vice president of operations at hotel management company Aimbridge Hospitality, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Over the last two years, Patenaude has “guided Dreamscape through a period of significant growth, operational excellence and strategic expansion, consistently exceeding performance goals,” the company said.
“Under Adam’s leadership, Dreamscape Hospitality has grown at a pace that would be impressive in any market, but what makes it remarkable is how that growth has been built on strong relationships with our owners and partners,” Chairman Eric Birnbaum said in a statement. “The foundation he’s built will allow us to expand strategically, maintain our standards of excellence, and deliver unmatched value for our partners.”
Dreamscape currently has “an extremely strong pipeline that will expand its national presence into new markets,” according to the release. The company did not reply to a Hotel Dive request for comment on future growth plans by the time of publication.
To facilitate growth, Patenaude will continue to “build a corporate support team of top hospitality talent with the expertise and resources to support the portfolio,” per the release. In September 2025, Dreamscape tapped Bill Stadler as chief investment officer.
“Our growth is about more than numbers — it’s about building an organization with the people, systems and culture to consistently deliver exceptional results for our ownership partners,” Patenaude said in a statement.
Industrywide, there was a slate of notable hospitality executive appointments in the third quarter of this year, including hotel management company Pyramid Global Hospitality naming Chris Dunne as CFO.
