Hotel management company Pyramid Global Hospitality has appointed a new chief financial officer, among other executive leaders, according to a news release shared with Hotel Dive.
Chris Dunne joins Pyramid as CFO after most recently serving in the same role at hotel management company Atrium Hospitality, in addition to its treasurer. Dunne brings more than 30 years of hospitality, financial and business experience to his new position, also previously serving in multiple executive leadership roles at IHG Hotels & Resorts, according to Pyramid.
In his new position, Dunne will oversee Pyramid’s global finance organization and work closely with executive leadership, owners and investment partners to “support strategic growth, strengthen financial performance and drive sustainable value creation across the portfolio,” per the release.
In addition to Dunne’s appointment, Pyramid named Jenny Zhang as corporate vice president of luxury operations and Bill McKinney as corporate director of food and beverage.
With experience leading luxury and ultra-luxury hotels and resorts across global markets, Zhang will partner with luxury properties across the Pyramid portfolio to “elevate operational performance while supporting business development initiatives and continued growth within the luxury segment,” per the release.
Meanwhile, McKinney is tasked with strengthening the performance of food and beverage outlets across Pyramid’s portfolio, advancing strategic initiatives and elevating the guest experience, the company detailed.
Pyramid also promoted company executives Thomas Pavlik and Chad Heilesen to vice presidents of operations, tasked with overseeing the company’s Benchmark Resorts & Hotels portfolio.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to bringing the right expertise to the table as we continue to grow,” Pyramid CEO Warren Fields said in a statement. “By strengthening our capabilities, we're better positioned to support our owners, create opportunities for our associates, and help each property reach its full potential.”
Pyramid is among Marriott International, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Wynn Resorts to add a new CFO this year. Other hotel management companies that have recently made executive leadership appointments include Driftwood Hospitality Management and HEI Hotels & Resorts.
