Hilton has debuted a new collection brand, Select by Hilton, entering into an exclusive franchise agreement with lifestyle hotel brand Yotel, which is the first flag in the newly established collection, the hotel company announced Thursday.
Select by Hilton will include high-quality, established hotel brands that retain their own identity and brand management while having access to benefits from the Hilton Honors loyalty program and Hilton’s distribution and technology platforms, according to the company. Select by Hilton represents Hilton’s 27th brand.
Through the founding agreement, Yotel will continue to independently manage and license its brand at 23 hotels across 10 countries, with a goal of more than tripling its portfolio in the coming years, Hilton detailed in a release.
London-based Yotel provides “highly efficient” hotels in urban markets worldwide, including New York, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Glasgow and Singapore, according to Hilton. The hotels offer the signature Yotel SmartBed, which can transform from a flatbed to a sofa, as well as tech-enabled features like automated luggage storage.
“The addition of YOTEL to Hilton's network is the latest example of our commitment to capital efficient growth through a relationship that is both complementary to our existing brand portfolio and offers guests thoughtfully designed, sleek new ways to stay with Hilton in key urban locations around the world,” said Christian Charnaux, executive vice president and chief development officer at Hilton.
The first Yotel hotels are expected to be available for booking through Hilton later in 2026.
