- Soho House named Neil Thomson CFO, effective Aug. 18, the membership club and hospitality company announced Tuesday.
- Thomson, a 30-year hospitality operations and finance leader, most recently served as CFO of Tasty Restaurant Group, a private equity-backed franchisee of quick-service restaurants, per the announcement.

Dive Insight:
Thomson will succeed CFO Thomas Allen, who will remain with Soho House through Aug. 29 to “ensure a smooth transition,” according to the announcement.

Prior to his role at Tasty Restaurant Group, Thomson was CFO of dining company Del Frisco’s. He also held a variety of executive roles at Yum! Brands, including CFO of India, chief development officer of Pizza Hut International and chief growth officer of Pizza Hut Asia, according to Soho House.
“It's a really exciting time to be joining,” said Thomson in a Monday LinkedIn post, which also pointed to the company’s recent take-private agreement.
Thomson will be based in the firm’s London office, Soho House shared.
As part of MCR’s investment in the company, MCR CEO and Chairman Tyler Morse will join the Soho House’s board of directors as vice chairman. Actor-turned-investor Ashton Kutcher will also join the board, Soho House announced Monday.
In a statement Monday, Morse said MCR’s deal with the membership club company “represents a strategic opportunity to combine our operational expertise with one of the most distinctive brands in hospitality.”
