Dive Brief:
- MGM Resorts International will rebrand its 293-key NoMad Las Vegas property as The Reserve at Park MGM, according to a Monday press release.
- The rebrand will include new identities for multiple venues within the space, including the NoMad Pool, which will be renamed The Terrace Pool; the NoMad Library, which will become The Library; and the NoMad Bar, which will be called The Reserve Bar, per the release.
- The complete brand transition takes effect Dec. 17, and in early 2026, The Reserve at Park MGM is expected to join Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, per the release. The rebrand is part of MGM Resorts’ long-term strategic licensing partnership with Marriott International, announced in 2023.
Dive Insight:
Once The Reserve at Park MGM is fully integrated into Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection, Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to book stays through Marriott’s website, as well as earn and redeem membership points at The Reserve at Park MGM.
The property is part of the MGM Collection by Marriott Bonvoy loyalty partnership, which has allowed Marriott grow the number of rooms in its system and avail itself of some of Las Vegas’ most iconic brands, according to a KPMG report published earlier this year.
MGM Rewards expanded its Marriott Bonvoy perks in March, following a February earnings call during which MGM CEO Bill Hornbuckle said the program’s first year “outperformed our original expectations with over 660,000 room nights stayed.”
MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy will have a total of 13 Las Vegas Strip destinations once The Reserve at Park MGM transition is complete, per the release. Other properties include Aria Resort & Casino and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, both part of the Autograph Collection; Bellagio, a Luxury Collection Resort & Casino; and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, which is part of MGM Collection.
Last month, MGM completed a $300 million remodel of 3,969 rooms and suites in the main tower of MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, MGM Resorts International’s third-quarter net revenue in Las Vegas declined 7% year over year. The company attributed the decrease to the MGM Grand remodel, as well as decreases in RevPAR, table games win percentage and food and beverage revenue.
