- Located in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood, the property features 341 “reimagined” guest rooms and a new, expansive lobby, “inspired by the city’s warm and creative spirit,” per the release.
- “For more than 40 years, Loews Nashville has been a defining part of Music City hospitality,” Hugh Anderson, the hotel’s general manager, said in a statement. “This transformation builds on that legacy.” It comes amid other hotel projects moving forward in the Nashville market.
Dive Insight:
South Florida-based Studio DADO designed the hotel’s interiors, which “draw inspiration from the artistic and cultural identity” of Nashville, per Loews. The property was first built in 1984, according to Cvent.
Guest rooms and suites feature a soft, neutral color palette with subtle music references woven throughout the design.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s lobby has been revamped as a “warm and welcoming space” with an expansive, open-concept design and a new grand staircase connecting the lobby and mezzanine levels. The lobby’s centerpiece is a 53-foot-long sculptural chandelier, and the reception area is backed by a custom glass art installation depicting brass instruments.
Loews Nashville Hotel’s two new restaurants include Maisonette Patisserie & Coffee, an all-day cafe and marketplace located in the lobby, and Masons at West End, a chef-led American restaurant and bar that will feature live performances “by a curated lineup of Nashville artists.”
The final phase of the renovation is expected to debut in January 2027 and will include a refreshed 8,500-square-foot ballroom and adjoining foyer, as well as a new outdoor lawn with an open-air gathering space.
Nashville’s hospitality market has benefited in recent years from events-driven tourism and a robust luxury hotel pipeline. The revamped hotel also comes after Westin Nashville completed a $13.5 million renovation project, which touched upon its rooms and meeting spaces.
Last month, the 245-room SongTeller Hotel from the late Dolly Parton opened. It includes a museum dedicated to the country music star’s life and legacy.
Other properties coming to Nashville include The Nashville Edition, a Marriott International-branded luxury hotel and residences project, as well as a 326-room luxury hotel and residences property from Pendry Hotels & Resorts.
New York City-based Loews Hotels & Resorts operates 26 hotels and resorts across the U.S., according to its website.
