The top 10 hospitality industry CEO moves of 2025

Yotel, Vail Resorts and Remington all named new chief executives during the year, while the heads of Virgin Hotels Collection and Six Senses bade farewell.

In 2025, several hospitality organizations, including hotel management firms, resort operators and brands, changed their top C-suite seat: the CEO.

Some chief executive officers were appointed to lead new growth strategies, while others were named to tackle ongoing corporate challenges. 

On the flip side, several companies saw their CEOs depart. For example, Sonder co-founder Francis Davidson stepped down from his CEO role just months before the company’s November bankruptcy.
