Hilton is opening the first lifestyle hotel in Los Angeles’ emerging Stadium District, according to a news release obtained by Hotel Dive.
The Anthem Hotel, part of Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is steps away from major sports and entertainment venues including SoFi Stadium, homebase to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, as well as Intuit Dome, Kia Forum and YouTube Theater.
Part of the 298-acre Hollywood Park mixed-use development in Inglewood, The Anthem Hotel “isn’t just near the action, it’s part of it,” Stephen Chavez, general manager of the hotel, said in a statement.
“We’ve created a space that reflects the rhythm of the Los Angeles Stadium District: vibrant, connected, and full of possibility,” Chavez said. “Here, events start and end at The Anthem, where the crowd becomes the atmosphere itself: a sea of fans in jerseys, tie-dye, and festive glam. It’s an energy unlike what other places can offer.”
With design inspired by the City of Angels’ energy, the hotel includes 179 renovated guest rooms and suites with blackout shades, ergonomic workspaces and high-speed WiFi, according to Hilton. Sustainable materials and refined finishes add a modern touch to the rooms.
The property is owned by hospitality investor Chartres Lodging Group and managed by Chevy Chase, Maryland-based PM Hotel Group.
Maki Bara, president and co-founder of San Francisco-based Chartres, said in the release that the hotel is designed to move with its audience, “[shifting] effortlessly from the excitement of a championship game to the buzz of a sold-out concert or the flow of a work trip that ends courtside.”
The hotel will likely attract bleisure travelers and dedicated sports fans, who are anticipating the FIFA World Cup tournament this summer as well as the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics, with about 14 million spectators expected. Moreover, bleisure is a trend that picked up steam in 2025 especially among younger travelers, and experts predict it will continue to make waves in 2026.
Anthem’s central amenity is an oversized pool framed by the Soundwave Pool Bar, which features a hand-painted mural designed to mimic the movement of a soundwave.
Additionally, a rooftop bar called The Stage boasts skyline views, craft cocktails and live performances. Tucked behind The Stage is a 1,285-square-foot inside space called Backstage, which provides a more intimate setting for private dining, a pre-show retreat for talent or a quiet nook. Denver, Colorado-based sports bar chain Tom’s Watch Bar will oversee the hotel’s food and beverage program.
Hilton has been steadily growing its Tapestry collection brand, with openings in Fort Worth, Texas, and downtown Chattanooga, Tennessee, earlier this year. So far, Hilton has opened 181 Tapestry hotels across 22 countries, with 132 hotels in the pipeline, according to its website.
Hilton’s upper-tier collection brands, which include Tapestry, Curio and the newly launched Outset Collection, present “an enormous opportunity,” Hilton CEO Chris Nassetta said on a Q3 2025 earnings call.
