Four Seasons is now accepting reservations for stays beginning this November at its soon-to-open Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico, the luxury hotel company announced Wednesday.
The resort, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, stretches along two miles of beach and is surrounded by its own 483-acre private nature reserve and two additional protected sanctuaries. Approximately 30 minutes from San Juan, it is the only Caribbean resort designated as a Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, according to Four Seasons.
The property features 139 guest rooms and 10 dining options, including a lobby bar and lounge, a pop-up sushi bar and a beachfront restaurant. It also offers a spa and wellness center plus two fitness facilities.
Guests have access to an oceanfront golf course, swimming pools and complimentary water sports. The property will offer signature experiences including canoe trekking, zip-lining, nighttime kayaking and more.
Travelers are increasingly interested in nature-oriented experiences, experts told Hotel Dive last year.
Additionally, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rico has 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space.
The property is one of a growing collection of Four Seasons resorts in the Caribbean, which include forthcoming properties in Belize and the Dominican Republic, according to the brand.
Marriott’s luxury Ritz-Carlton brand is also underway on a Puerto Rico resort revamp in San Juan. Previously slated to reopen this year, a Marriott spokesperson told Hotel Dive this month that the Ritz-Carlton, San Juan is now scheduled to open in 2026.
