Dallas-based hotel management company Dreamscape Hospitality tapped Aimbridge Hospitality Chief Investment Officer Bill Stadler to fill the same role at its organization, according to a release obtained by Hotel Dive.
In his new role, Stadler will lead Dreamscape’s investment strategy, overseeing acquisitions, capital deployment and strategic partnerships to drive the company’s next phase of growth, according to the release.
Stadler brings more than 40 years of hospitality industry experience to Dreamscape. During his 11 years at Plano, Texas-based Aimbridge, Stadler “played a critical role in scaling the company from 150 hotels and a $100 million valuation to more than 1,500 hotels worldwide valued at over $1.8 billion,” according to Dreamscape.
He also previously worked at real estate brokerage firm HFF before it was acquired by JLL in 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Bill’s experience in scaling major portfolios and executing transformative investments will be instrumental as Dreamscape accelerates its growth,” Dreamscape President Adam Patenaude said in a statement.
Dreamscape currently manages more than 35 hotels, including Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The firm has another 60 properties in the pipeline, according to the release.
Last year, Aimbridge restructured its executive leadership teams to streamline its U.S. operations. The company could not be reached Wednesday for comment on Stadler’s replacement.
