Dallas-based hospitality management company Coury Hospitality has added Hotel Cleveland, Autograph Collection, in downtown Cleveland to its growing lifestyle portfolio.
Skyline Investments selected Coury Hospitality to manage the Marriott-branded property, which represents the second-largest Autograph Collection hotel in the country, according to a release obtained by Hotel Dive.
Originally opened in 1918, Hotel Cleveland underwent an extensive $90 million renovation that wrapped in 2024 that revamped the historic property’s interiors, lobby and amenity spaces with design meant “to celebrate the city’s rich history, culture and communal spirit,” per the release.
The hotel offers nearly 500 guest rooms and 65,000 square feet of meetings and events space. Additionally, the property is home to two new dining concepts: Maker, serving cocktails and locally inspired comfort food, and Mowrey’s, an American-style breakfast restaurant.
Hotel Cleveland represents the 13th Autograph Collection property in Coury Hospitality’s portfolio, “further strengthening its positioning as the largest and most experienced U.S. operator of Marriott’s premium independent hotel collection,” according to the management firm.
Coury Hospitality, the lifestyle management division of Coury Holdings, focuses on “creating lifestyle hotels that become destinations within their communities, which makes Hotel Cleveland a natural addition to our Autograph Collection portfolio,” President Andrew Casperson, who was appointed to that role last year, said in a statement. “We’re looking forward to partnering with Skyline Investments to build on Hotel Cleveland’s legacy through dynamic culinary programming and memorable guest experiences.”
Coury Hospitality specializes in managing branded and independent hotels with strong food and beverage programs. Its portfolio spans Marriott’s Autograph Collection and Tribute Portfolio brands as well as Hilton’s Curio and Tapestry Collections.
