Hotel management company Atrium Hospitality appointed several key executive leaders to expanded roles Thursday, including naming Rob Mangiarelli CEO.
Mangiarelli was appointed Atrium’s CEO after serving as president at the Alpharetta, Georgia-based company for nearly three years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Prior to that, Mangiarelli served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at the firm. He previously held a variety of leadership roles at other hospitality companies, including Magna Hospitality and Hyatt Hotels, per LinkedIn.
Atrium Chief Commercial Officer Kimberly Furlong succeeds Mangiarelli in the president role, the company announced Thursday. The appointment unites the company’s commercial and operations functions, with Furlong overseeing both teams.
Meanwhile, Atrium promoted Lars Schrader to senior vice president of operations. He is tasked with overseeing all property operations across Atrium’s nationwide portfolio, which spans 73 hotels in 25 states. Schrader will report directly to Furlong, according to the company.
The executive leadership transitions come as Atrium seeks to “align talent and structure to deliver sustainable growth,” according to the company.
“As we look to the future, we will remain focused on delivering memorable guest experiences, creating growth opportunities for our associates, and leading with values that guide every decision we make,” Mangiarelli said in a statement.
Atrium also announced that General Counsel Seth Ruzi will retire at the end of 2025.
Other hotel management companies to make recent executive leadership changes include Aimbridge Hospitality, Remington Hospitality and Stonebridge.
